The Vampire FaceLift ™

The Vampire FaceLift ™ gets its name from the fact that it uses your own blood which contains a high content of growth factors. Using Rejuvenation Therapy, the cells responsible for regeneration and repair in our bodies.

The Vampire FaceLift™ works on the basis that the body’s own natural healing powers slow down the signs of ageing. The Vampire Facelift treatment has become popular because it uses the body’s natural resources, is minimally invasive and has little recovering time and can address the signs of facial ageing both below the surface and on the surface of the skin resulting in re-volumisation, increased collagen and a more radiant complexion.

A small amount of blood is taken from you and then treated in a centrifuge. This is rich in growth factors, which are the cells responsible for repair in our bodies. This is then re-injected into the face in order to stimulate collagen production for plumping and lifting and to improve skin texture and tone as well as improving the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Dr Wakil has developed a technique he calls “the sandwich technique” where he injects deep into the skin in order to stimulate the fibroblasts, the cells responsible of producing collagen, as well as superficial to rejuvenate the outer layer of the skin.

The Vampire FaceLift™ can be used to address a wide variety of facial ageing and skin concerns which makes it a very diverse treatment option for anyone who wants a natural way to rejuvenate their skin and turn back the clock. It is suitable for both men and women of any age (over 18) and skin type. As with all treatments you will need a consultation in order for Dr Ghasmi to assess if this is the right procedure for you. Certain conditions such as dysfunction syndrome, sepsis and chronic liver pathology may make you unsuitable for treatment.

The treatment does involve injections so it can be a little uncomfortable but topical anaesthetic is used to minimise any discomfort and most patients find the treatment very tolerable with many experiencing no pain at all.

The treatment will take around 40 minutes.

Rejuvenation Therapy is one of the safest treatments that we apply in cosmetic medicine because it uses your own blood, so there’s nothing external added at all. Rejuvenation Therapy has been used for many years now with no reported major risk factors or side effects whatsoever. The kit that we use is sterile and disposable, used only once for this patient and disposed off afterwards. There is very little downtime with the procedure. Your face may look a little pink immediately after treatment but this will resolve in a couple of hours. You may also have minor bruising but if this happens it should settle within couple of days.
