iTero 3D Teeth Scanning

Here at The Harrogate Clinic we use the iTero scanner to take images inside your mouth, this creates a 3D model of your Teeth and gums.
This 3D mapping allows your dentist to show your corrective image in real time.

This can be used in conjunction with many cosmetic treatments including Invisalign, dental implants, crowns and bridges reducing the time Taken on in chair procedures such as impressions.
Our dentist will use the I Tero wand which is a hand held scanning devise that takes over 6,000 images per second of the inside of your mouth, the Scanning process takes less than 2 minutes and you will see your end Invisalign results instantly.

The iTero Element Scanner is a state-of-the-art digital impression system, used before starting any Invisalign clear brace or other orthodontic treatment. It involves using a small optical wand to scan the inside of your mouth and teeth, instead of the traditional method of using trays and messy putty. The impression process is incredibly quick, and patients are free to breathe, swallow, or even pause to sneeze, without impacting the scanning process.
